To choose the right storage unit, there are several points to consider. For example, do you need to free up space in your home and garage and store certain belongings long term? Or are you moving and temporarily want to store furniture, appliances and other treasured items in a safe place?
Security features: Ask about security features at the storage facility. Is there a video camera on site? Is the property well lit? Is the premises surrounded by fencing? A storage center should offer these features, ensuring that your property is in a facility that has safety top of mind.
Storage unit size: This is like the story of the three bears: If you choose a unit that is too large or too small, in no time you will need to move to another unit. At Mini-Mac, you have options.
° 10'x30' (300 sq. ft.) is perfect if you need more room for personal items, appliances, furniture, an extra vehicle, lawn equipment and toys.
° 10'x20' (200 sq. ft.) is a good size if you need to free up space at home or the workplace. It's also ideal for small business owners who need to store retail products or equipment.
° 10'x10' (100 sq. ft.) provides extra room to store personal or business items.
° 5'x10' (50 sq. ft.) is just right for those who need a little extra storage space.

Rent online or in person: Call us ahead and we can discuss what's available. You can also check our online database to find out what's open and meets your storage needs.
Complete your rental agreement: This will include terms of your lease. Review all the terms before you sign, whether in person or online. Our associate can help explain the terms but cannot give you any advice. As added protection, we recommend that you consider some form of renters' insurance. We can waive this, in some cases, if you have homeowners or renters' insurance that would also cover your property in a storage unit.
